Our story

From a deli counter to your favourite table.

Carry Me Home began as the deli loved by guests at The Restaurant at Gabriëlskloof. When the world slowed down, that little counter of ready-made meals, fresh bakes and quality meats grew into something of its own, and in 2021 it found a home on Harbour Road in Kleinmond.

Today it’s a warm, family-run spot where everything is made with care: slow breakfasts, generous lunches, proper coffee, and a deli brimming with pies, breads, charcuterie and treats to take home. Friendly faces, a play area for the kids, and a welcome for your dog too.
